Job Title: Nutraceutical Manufacturing Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to assist with our production processes within this specialized laboratory environment.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Orlando, FL. The Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for participating in manufacturing processes, ensuring quality control, maintaining clean rooms, and troubleshooting equipment issues. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the formulation, production, and quality assurance of high-quality nutraceutical products. Effective communication with team members and adherence to safety and compliance regulations are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Operate and maintain advanced manufacturing equipment to produce sterile products.
  2. Formulate and assist in the development of new sterile products based on scientific principles and market needs.
  3. Conduct quality control tests and analytical procedures to ensure product efficacy and safety, including potency and purity assessments.
  4. Document all manufacturing processes and outcomes meticulously, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory standards.
  5. Collaborate with R&D and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot formulations, conduct stability studies, and assess product shelf life.
  6. Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials and finished products; assist in supply chain management as necessary.
  7. Participate in training and continuous education programs to stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements.
  8. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace to prevent contamination.
  9. Support the implementation of quality assurance measures and continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Clean Rooms and Quality Control procedures
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Strong understanding of chemical processes, laboratory techniques, and regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, NSF, cGMP, USP 797, Sterile Transfer Technique)
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety and compliance standards
  • Previous experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment is beneficial
  • Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field; additional certifications in manufacturing or quality assurance are a plus.
