Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum education is a high school diploma.
• Associates of Arts in Early Childhood Development or CDA preferred.
• Prior experience in early childhood/education settings preferred.
• CPR certification through AHA required.

Responsibilities

• Use a curriculum framework to meet learning expectations for each child.
• Establish daily routines with small/large group activities.
• Model respectful behavior to children and staff.
• Communicate progress with parents and the director.
• Build positive relationships with students and parents.
• Complete screenings and assessments within required timelines.
• Maintain student files, attendance and incident records.
• Coordinate with ECSE teachers, center staff and families.
• Report accidents/illnesss and unusual behavior to guardians.
• Maintain a clean, healthy classroom environment.
