Job summary

A private Christian school in Fort Lauderdale is looking for a part-time ACE Counselor to provide after-school childcare for children aged 3 to 4. The role involves supervising and guiding children in a loving and safe environment, supporting their spiritual growth. Candidates must have a strong commitment to faith, and excellent interpersonal skills, and be physically able to engage with children. This position is temporary and seasonal, from Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Must complete the 45-hour DCF Training within a year of hire.
• Commitment to the philosophy and Statement of Faith of Calvary Chapel.
• Ability to lift 45 lbs and play on the floor with children.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children at all times and maintain their safety.
• Provide snacks and keep the area clean after.
• Document all injuries and maintain accurate attendance records.
