Kids 'R' Kids of Waterside in Richmond, TX is seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to guide infants through preschoolers in a warm, safe environment. You will plan engaging activities aligned with developmental milestones and partner with families to support each child's growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CDA or degree in ECE preferred.
• Prior experience in daycare, preschool, or early childhood setting preferred.
• Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to pass a background check per state childcare regulations.
• Warm, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with a love for young children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities aligned with early childhood development standards
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for children in your care
• Monitor and document children's developmental milestones and progress
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's growth and daily activities
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, meals, and rest times
• Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support the overall curriculum and center goals
