Job summary

The College of Health Care Professions (CHCP), now part of HCA Healthcare, invites you to join as a Vocational Nurse Instructor in Texas. You will deliver nursing curriculum, mentor students, monitor progress, and promote safe, evidence-based practice under the Program Director.

Experience teaching is not required; we value clinical RN experience and a BSN or higher, along with licensure in Texas and at least three years of professional practice.

Qualifications

• BSN or higher from an accredited institution.
• Current, active RN license in Texas.
• Minimum of three years of professional field experience.
• Must meet state/regulatory/accreditation requirements for vocational nursing faculty.
• Clinical experience requirements vary based on credentials and program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver curriculum content for the Vocational Nursing program.
• Provide student mentorship and academic support.
• Monitor student progress and promote safe, evidence-based nursing practices.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to maintain instructional quality and CHCP policies.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, accreditation standards, and CHCP requirements.
