Responsibilities

• Organizes and handles clerical activities for the nursing unit.
• Communicates with patients, visitors, and staff in a timely and efficient manner.
• Performs unit tasks effectively and timely.
• Gathers and distributes clinical data as assigned.
• Orders supplies and maintains nurses' station in an orderly, neat manner.
• Documents legibly according to hospital policy.
• Participates in implementation of PI plan.
• Assists with ordering and organization of supplies.
• Contributes to unit PI plan and understands National Patient Safety Goals.
