Job summary

Riverside Healthcare Center is seeking an experienced Charge Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day activities of nursing assistants. You will ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory guidelines while maintaining the highest standard of patient care.

You will lead shifts, coordinate care plans, review discharge plans, and participate in quality assurance activities in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, active RN or LPN/LVN license in the state.
• Nursing degree required; supervises CNAs and nursing staff.
• Experience in long-term care and supervision preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants.
• Ensure compliance with Nursing Service Procedures Manual.
• Prepare, administer, and document medications per physician orders.
• Lead staff meetings and coordinate shift planning.
• Monitor resident care plans and discharge planning updates.
• Maintain daily census and prepare required reports.
