Responsibilities

  • Perform general clerical duties on the nursing unit and maintain patient records, charts, and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Serve as the main receptionist for the unit, greet patients/visitors, answer phones, and direct inquiries.
  • Coordinate communication among patients, visitors, physicians, nursing staff and ancillary departments to support efficient care.
  • Provide administrative support including scheduling, data entry, and unit correspondence.
  • Assist with basic patient care tasks as needed (when certified), acting as a Nurse Assistant to support clinical staff.
