REHAB Hospital of the Pacific is seeking a Nursing Unit Secretary to provide essential administrative support on the nursing unit, coordinating communication among healthcare providers, patients, and staff while managing unit records and schedules. This role emphasizes confidentiality, documentation accuracy, and smooth unit workflow to enhance patient care.

The position offers a wage range of $19.56 to $29.34 per hour, with actual pay based on experience and qualifications.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous work experience in a medical/hospital setting is required.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Associate degree in a healthcare field is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and direct patients, visitors, and staff while adhering to policies.
• Route patient and staff requests to the appropriate personnel.
• Answer calls, relay messages, and ensure effective coordination.
• Organize and maintain patient records and discharge transfers to HIM.
• Coordinate patient transfers and fax records as needed.
• Maintain supplies and ensure a clean, safe nursing station.

Educación
