Job summary

Dominican University New York, located in Orangeburg, New York, is seeking an Nursing Undergraduate Adjunct Clinical Instructor to provide clinical instruction for the undergraduate nursing program in clinical and/or skills lab settings. Openings span Traditional Day and Evening, Accelerated Day and Weekend across multiple specialties.

Candidates should have at least three years of clinical nursing experience, NY RN licensure, BSN and MSN, and recent hospital experience for Medical-Surgical

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience in the specialty area.
• Recent hospital experience required for Medical-Surgical courses.
• Current clinical competence(certification) in the specialty area; clinical practice within the previous five years preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required (those currently enrolled in an MSN program may be considered)
• Current, unencumbered New York State RN license required; New Jersey State RN license preferred but not required.
