Job summary

NHS Tayside in Dundee is inviting applications for a Full Time Fixed Term (18 months) role as a First level UK NMC Registered Mental Health Nurse or Learning Disability Nurse leading the ADHD pathway within the Dundee CMHT.

The post emphasizes nursing assessments, initiation/titration of medication where indicated, and collaborative care with Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy and Psychology to improve outcomes for people with ADHD and other neurodevelopmental conditions.

Qualifications

• First level UK NMC Registered Mental Health Nurse or Learning Disability Nurse.
• Experience with ADHD and neurodevelopmental conditions preferred.
• Experience in Community Mental Health Teams (CMHTs) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ADHD pathway providing nursing assessments/interventions.
• Work as part of the Team Leader group to ensure cross-cover for leave.
• Build relationships with Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy and Psychology teams.
