Job summary

ScionHealth is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing staff, assess patient needs, and coordinate nursing services. The role includes planning and delivering staff training and participating in educational programs.

The incumbent will supervise and evaluate personnel, develop protocols, ensure proper documentation, and maintain records. A BSN, RN license, and BLS are required, with 2 years of hospital nursing experience and 1–2 years in leadership. Travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• Must have nursing degree from an accredited school.
• Must hold a valid state Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification is required.
• Two years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• 1–2 years of supervisory/leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, hires, trains, and evaluates designated nursing staff; assigns duties and coordinates nursing services.
• Participates in developing nursing protocols and procedures.
• Provides continuing education and staff development opportunities.
• Assess patient needs and participate in nursing care; ensure services are carried out and documented.
• Maintain patient health care records and ensure documentation is accurate and complete.
• Maintain supply inventory records; order supplies and equipment as necessary.
