Job summary

HCA Florida JFK Hospital is seeking a registered nurse to perform unit rounds, assess patient care quality, and identify nursing educational needs. The role includes escalating concerns, ensuring nurses understand integration of patient experience into practice, and responding promptly to unit emergencies.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an active Florida RN license (or compact licensure), current BLS/ACLS/PALS, and at least one year of acute care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Florida RN license or compact licensure.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Neonate Resuscitation within 1 year of start date.
• NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days of start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days of start date.
• Minimum 1 year of Acute Care Med/Surg/Tele RN experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisor/leadership experience.

Job Summary And Qualifications

What you will need in this role:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current State of Florida Registered RN License, or
• Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions).
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Minimum 1 year of Acute Care Hospital Med/Surg/Tele RN experience required
• Minimum 1 year of supervisor / leadership experience required
