Job summary

Exalt Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Wildwood, Florida, seeks a Nursing Supervisor to lead our team of registered nurses and licensed practical nurses in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients recovering from strokes, brain injuries, and orthopedic injuries.

Qualified candidates have an RN license, BLS, ACLS is a plus, and strong leadership and communication skills. Prior supervisory experience and a commitment to rehabilitation medicine are preferred.

Qualifications

Current, unencumbered registered nurse license to practice in the state.
Current BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross is required.
ACLS certification via AHA or Red Cross is a plus.
Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care: assess needs, administer meds, monitor vitals, and develop care plans.
Supervise nursing staff: assign tasks, provide feedback, ensure policy adherence.
Ensure quality and safety: monitor outcomes and address risks, drive quality improvements.
Promote patient-centered care: create a compassionate environment, communicate effectively, advocate for patients.
Participate in unit operations: prepare schedules, manage budgets, and coordinate with departments.
