Job summary

Stone Bridge Center for Health & Rehabilitation in Sandy Hook, CT, is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to lead an interdisciplinary team and deliver compassionate, high-quality resident care.

The role oversees daily operations, staffing, safety, compliance with nursing policies, and care plan implementation, with opportunities for growth in a supportive, patient-focused environment. RN license required; advanced degree preferred; LTC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid state nursing license.
• Advanced degree or certification preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
• Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and chronically ill with the ability to work with both.
• Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality resident care.
• Oversee facility operations, safety, cleanliness and policy compliance.
• Develop and implement care plans with the team.
• Conduct assessments and audits to maintain quality standards.
• Provide mentorship and training to nursing staff.
• Ensure regulatory standards are met.
