Job summary

Loma Linda University Health is seeking a Supervisor of Nursing to lead the nursing department after-hours, weekends and holidays. The role involves clinical decision making, staff supervision, and ensuring policy adherence across LLUMC and LLUCH facilities.

You will coordinate with departments, respond to emergencies, and maintain high-quality patient care while managing resources and workflows. A BSN is required; an MSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum three years of acute care nursing experience with leadership/administration responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing department operations during evening, night, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Respond to patient emergencies and interpret/implement care policies.
• Coordinate with Central Staffing, Transfer Center, Patient Placement and Emergency Department.
• Lead, teach, and collaborate with staff to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
