Job summary

The University at Buffalo is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Nursing Success Scholars Program, a federally funded initiative aimed at promoting recruitment, retention, and academic success of nursing students from disadvantaged backgrounds. You will work closely with the Project Director to oversee daily operations and serve as the primary contact for Scholars.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and related experience in student advising or program coordination.
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and data management skills.
• Experience in higher education administration or student services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support scholar recruitment and onboarding.
• Conduct needs assessment and individualized success planning.
• Monitor student progress and implement Early Alert interventions.
• Coordinate bridge and professional development activities.
• Manage partner coordination and reporting.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement.
