Job summary

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a full-time nursing program such as an accredited Baccalaureate Nursing Program or RN Associate Degree program or LPN to RN nursing program.
• Active Nurse Aide (CNA) license in Nebraska
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Provides patient personal care/hygiene and physical comfort within assigned tasks, including feeding, bathing, and mobility.
• Documents and reports clinical activities; observes changes in patient condition.
• Assists in admission, discharge and transfer processes; transports patients as needed.
• Provides patient data to the care team for the interdisciplinary plan of care.
• Maintains organized work area; orders and replenishes supplies; reports equipment issues.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing education.
