Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in staffing or scheduling within a hospital setting is preferred.
• Experience coordinating nursing schedules and collaborating with nursing leaders.

Responsibilities

• Work with nursing leaders to identify improvements in nursing department staffing effectiveness.
• Assist and advise supervisors on scheduling issues.
• Ensure filing compliance with Joint Commission and regulatory standards.
• Provide scheduling of educational opportunities to nursing staff.
• Under supervision, schedule, coordinate, and inform nursing staff of their assigned schedule.
• Distribute nursing schedule in a timely manner.
• Advise supervisors of staffing ratio problems.
• Draft letters, emails, reports and presentations with professionalism.
