Job summary

Arizona College of Nursing in Greenville, SC seeks a Nursing Lab Specialist to support student success by preparing, assisting, and resetting lab sessions. You will work with the Nursing Lab Manager and faculty to coordinate instructional labs and maintain supplies.

You will set up simulation and skills labs, manage hi-fidelity simulators, troubleshoot equipment, restock materials, and ensure safety standards throughout simulations and academic activities.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience.
• Previous health care experience required.
• Ability to read, write, perform basic math, and follow instructions.
• Familiarity with nursing or lab equipment preferred.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with Nursing Lab Manager and faculty to coordinate instructional lab sessions.
• Support the Nursing Lab Manager and faculty in maintaining and purchasing lab supplies and equipment.
• Coordinate updates, service, and replacement of nursing lab equipment as required.
• Control the simulator (Hi-Fidelity Mannequin) for various clinical scenarios per faculty specs.
• Operate the patient simulator, camera, and debrief system during simulations and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Set up simulation and skills labs to facilitate effective academic sessions.
• Organize and restock lab supplies.
• Deliver a theatrical production of simulation scenarios in line with the academic plan.
• Adhere to standards and safety protocols in assigned duties.
