Job summary

Grand Canyon University seeks an Immersive Simulation Facilitator to support clinical simulation education within the College of Nursing and Healthcare Professions on site in Englewood, CO. Schedule is onsite 7:30am–4:30pm, with occasional evenings and weekends as required.

The role involves leading scenario design, facilitation, debriefing, coordinating with the Director of Nursing Services, and guiding a team of technicians and faculty to ensure high-quality learner experiences.

Qualifications

• Two years related experience in healthcare, clinical healthcare education, or healthcare simulation education.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary educational support for Clinical Simulation Educational Activities
• Coordinate with the Director of Nursing Services to schedule activities and manage equipment
• Oversee all training processes and ensure systems and equipment meet learning outcomes
• Lead trial, validation, and evaluation for implementation of scenarios in the curriculum
• Orient and direct Simulation Technician, actors, volunteers and faculty before each scenario
• Coordinate video annotation, data capture and outcome reporting
• Ensure faculty and learners are oriented to capabilities, safety and equipment
• Manage supplies and equipment for Clinical Simulation Education
• Provide technical and operational support for AV and simulator systems
• Provide progress reports to didactic faculty on student outcomes
• Occasionally work evenings and weekends as required
