The ADR at the University of Kansas Medical Center leads strategic nursing research initiatives within the School of Nursing, aligning with the SON mission and KUMC priorities. This role also heads the Office of Grants and Research and collaborates with faculty, department chairs, and external stakeholders to advance funding opportunities and research impact.

The position requires a PhD in nursing or related field, substantial extramural funding experience, and eligibility for Kansas nursing

Formación

• PhD in nursing or health-related field is required.
• Experience with extramural funding, pre-award and post-award grant management, and proposal development is required.
• Eligibility for nursing licensure in Kansas is required.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement a comprehensive research strategy for the SON and pursue diverse funding sources.
• Cultivate internal and external partnerships to promote interdisciplinary research and mentor faculty.
• Oversee the Office of Grants and Research, ensuring compliant research administration and budget management.
