Job summary

Southeastern College in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse leader to serve as Program Director of Nursing. You will provide strategic leadership for the Nursing Program, guiding curriculum, faculty development, accreditation readiness, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will mentor faculty, foster student success, build partnerships with healthcare employers, oversee clinical experiences, and advance program growth while delivering high-quality nursing education.

Qualifications

Doctoral degree in nursing.
4 years of in-field nursing experience.
2 years of full-time teaching experience.
Current, unrestricted State of North Carolina RN License or ability to acquire

Responsibilities

Oversee development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Nursing curriculum.
Ensure program compliance with state, accreditation, and regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare partners and advisory boards.
Oversee clinical and externship experiences.
Support accreditation activities, audits, reporting, and program assessments.
Teach nursing courses in classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical settings.
Mentor and develop faculty.
Monitor student attendance, NCLEX readiness, and retention.
