Job summary

The Ohio State University Hospital's James Cancer Hospital seeks an experienced Nursing Professional Development Practitioner in the Operating Room. The NPD practitioner will lead education, ensure competency, and support interprofessional teams to improve patient outcomes.

Master's prepared RN with clinical leadership, teaching skills, and collaboration across disciplines is required, along with an Ohio RN license.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing or BSN with a related master's and 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current Ohio RN license required.
• Master's prepared with leadership in professional practice and learner development.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding and orientation for learners and staff.
• Manage and assess competency and education needs.
• Develop partnerships and drive professional practice improvement.
• Lead research, EBP projects and quality improvement initiatives.
