Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Generalist to support lifelong learning in an inter-professional environment.

You will facilitate education needs, lead change, mentor colleagues, and promote evidence-based practice across the hospital.

Require BSN, Texas RN license, BLS, and 3 years of clinical nursing with adult education exposure; NPD cert preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree of Nursing required.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support certification.
• NPD Certification or Certified Nurse Educator preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience in clinical nursing practice and application of adult education theory in a hospital and/or School of Nursing.
