TriStar Skyline Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Operations Nurse Director to oversee inpatient nursing functions, enhance throughput, and ensure high-quality patient care. You will supervise multiple units, drive capacity management, and champion regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership, workforce planning, and cross-department collaboration to improve discharge planning and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• The candidate must hold RN licensure in Tennessee or a compact state.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience.
• Proven experience in inpatient throughput and capacity management.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of the Manager of House Admin and related teams.
• Lead workforce planning and resource acquisition.
• Improve nursing processes and patient throughput.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and state/federal agencies.
• Collaborate across departments to optimize discharge planning.
• Oversee bed management for admissions from ER/OR/Cath Lab and direct transfers.
• Lead process improvement, quality, safety, and patient care initiatives.
• Represent hospital in external partnerships and professional organizations.
