Job summary

Astrya Global Medical Staffing seeks a MED-SURG RN for a 13-week assignment in Coos Bay, Oregon. Schedule is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with potential extension. Must hold an active Oregon RN license and current BLS; ACLS and other certifications may be required.

Experience in acute care settings is required; CCU/ED experience is preferred. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are included in this travel assignment.

Qualifications

• Active Oregon RN license.
• BLS certification current.
• ACLS within 6 months if not already current.
• Recent acute care hospital experience required.
• Critical Care/ED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide MED-SURG patient care during 7:00 PM–7:00 AM shifts.
• Maintain current BLS/ACLS; obtain as needed.
• Maintain PALS/TNCC where applicable.
• Complete required workplace violence training by deadline.
• May lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Title: MED-SURG
Location: Coos Bay, Oregon
Schedule: 7:00PM - 7:00AM x 4
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $63 - $68/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Coos Bay, Oregon. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a MED-SURG:

• Willing to accept candidates with less than 1 year of experience
• Must hold an active Oregon RN State License
• Must maintain current BLS certification
• Recent acute care hospital experience required (within the past 5 years)
• Critical Care/ED experience preferred
• Group 1 (MCU, PSU, IMCU, APU): Must maintain BLS and ACLS, or obtain ACLS within 6 months
• Group 2 (ED, ICU): Must maintain PALS and TNCC certifications
• Must complete organization-approved workplace violence training, or obtain by the last day of the month following the 90-day grace period
• May be required to lift up to 50 lbs
