Job summary

Evoraa Holdings LLC is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to lead the nursing team in a behavioral health setting in Tennessee. You will direct RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, develop policies, manage records, and ensure infection control and patient safety in collaboration with medical teams.

You will oversee treatment planning, uphold HIPAA, and maintain high standards of care while communicating effectively with staff and referral sources. A valid TN RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• RN license in TN and current BLS certification.
• 3 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in supervision.
• Experience in policy management, leadership and regulation compliance.
• Ability to work with chemically dependent and psychiatric care patients respectfully.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission accreditation requirements.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We approach patient care from a holistic recovery approach, paying attention to our patients' complex and individualized needs. Our program utilizes both group and individualized therapy, psychopharmacology, pharmacogenetic testing, and a wide variety of adjuvant therapies. We are a voluntary facility – patients are here on their own accord, and we do not utilize restraints or forceful measures of treatment.

Essential Duties:

• Directing and overseeing our amazing nursing team (RNs, LPNs, CNAs)
• Developing and carrying out nursing department policies and procedures
• Manage department record keeping and nursing staff documentation
• Managing facility infection control policies and procedures as needed
• Working with medical and clinical teams to plan, carry out, and evaluate patient treatment plans
• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment
• Attends staff training and meetings as required by the employer
• Communicating with the pharmacy as needed
• Assisting the nursing team with daily activities as needed
• Follows all policies and procedures with regard to patient information protection, including alcohol-drug patient confidentiality and HIPAA
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current R.N. state licensure.
• 3 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year of supervisory experience
• Experience in policy management, leadership, and regulation compliance
• Knowledge of legal regulations and evidence-based practice
• Ability to deal with both chemically dependent and individuals in psychiatric care in a non-judgmental, compassionate fashion
• Excellent skills in communication, problem-solving, and customer service
• Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships with other staff as well as with referral sources
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions from a wide variety of data and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
• Valid and unrestricted RN license in TN
• Current BLS certificate

Work Environment:

This position requires you to work in a temperature-controlled environment. Standing for periods of time may be required. Occasional need for lifting 50lbs or more.
