Job summary

West Shores Senior Living in Hot Springs, Arkansas, part of Sonida Senior Living, is hiring an LPN/LVN to support day-to-day nursing care in an Assisted Living setting.

You will administer medications, monitor residents, and collaborate with the nursing team to deliver quality care. Prior experience in assisted living is preferred; a valid LPN/LVN license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience preferred.
• Must be licensed as an LPN/LVN and maintain licensure.
• Experience in Assisted Living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day functions of nursing assistants per rules and guidelines.
• Administer medications as ordered by physician.
• Provide shift reports and recommendations as required.
• Ensure adequate supply of medications, supplies, and equipment; report needs.
• Place pharmacy orders and manage patient charts.

LPN/LVN Responsibilities include

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the Assisted Living Facility
• Administer all medications as ordered by the physician
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required
• Ensure adequate supply of medications, supplies and equipment is on hand to meet the nursing needs of residents. Report needs to the nursing supervisor
• Place phone calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions
• Pulls and prepares patient charts; performs other general office duties as required
