Job summary

Signature HealthCARE’s Erin facility seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing who is highly organized and detail-oriented to support the Nursing Department. You will assist the DON in daily operations, ensure adherence to policies and regulations, and delegate responsibilities to Charge Nurses and Supervisors to maintain quality care.

The role requires an RN in good standing, 3+ years of nursing experience, and 1–2 years of management experience. CPR certification is required; on-call is involved.

Qualifications

• RN in good standing with current state license.
• Minimum of three years nursing experience.
• One to two years management/supervisory experience preferred.
• Current/active CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage administrative and functional areas or programs within the Nursing Department.
• Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in overall operation of the department in accordance with Company policies and standards of nursing practices and government regulations.
• Delegate to the Charge Nurses and Nurse Supervisors the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary to perform their assigned duties.
