Job summary

Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina's Florence Presbyterian Community in Florence, SC, seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing to lead clinical care, ensure regulatory compliance, and support a warm, homelike environment for residents. This role collaborates with the Medical Director and oversees staff education, admissions, and daily operations.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree in nursing with SC RN licensure, CPR certification, and 1–3 years of supervisory nursing

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
• CPR certification required.
• 1–3 years of supervisory nursing experience.
• Advanced computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate clinical care, programs, and activities per SC Nurse Practice Act and regulations.
• Educate staff on survey processes and ensure compliance through daily rounds.
• Train staff on policies, procedures, and long-term care regulations.
• Develop staffing plans and care strategies to meet resident needs.
• Monitor clinical areas for safety, staff performance, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure resident needs are met during admissions.
• Collaborate with Medical Director on quality assurance and staff education.
• Perform on-call duties.
