Job summary

Bryant & Stratton College in Akron, OH is seeking a Nursing Internship Coordinator for our ADN & LPN programs. You will connect students with clinical sites, perform site visits, and arrange internship schedules within partner facilities.

The role also supports didactic instruction, guides students through NCLEX preparation, and ensures proper paperwork is submitted to facilities. A strong nursing background and Ohio RN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Experience for at least two years in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse.
• Master’s Degree with a major in nursing
• Current, valid licensure as a registered nurse in Ohio

Responsibilities

• Acquire sites for student internships, perform site visits, and arrange internship schedules at the facilities.
• Solicit suggestions of potential sites, contact the appropriate staff at the site and make a preliminary site visits to assess suitability.
• Have responsibilities for didactic instruction.
• Assist students with preparation for the NCLEX post-graduation.
• Will submit necessary paperwork to the facility prior to the internship.
