Jersey College seeks a Nursing Instructor to provide high-quality nursing education to LPN/PN and RN students, with classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction as needed.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned RN with MSN or higher, strong communication, and a passion for student success. Responsibilities include evaluating student performance, supervising clinicals, and collaborating with faculty across campuses to uphold nursing standards.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state required.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to the nursing courses and clinical experiences being taught.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in a nursing specialty that contributes to student learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN nursing students, as assigned.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters students' academic growth and professional development.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence based on program philosophy, objectives, policies, and established standards.
