Job summary

Qualifications

• Teaching experience preferred (Minimum of 3 years experience in field of study)
• 3 years’ experience as a registered nurse
• Active Ohio RN license that has never been encumbered
• Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) required
• Self-motivated, flexible and able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with students, leadership, peers and community partners
• Excellent written communication and strong verbal communication skills
• Must provide professional licenses and certifications required for clinical compliance in the state of teaching
• Must adhere to faculty immunization policy and provide documentation

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in courses aligned with qualifications and expertise
• Ensure instructional activities, contact hours and delivery responsibilities meet policies and standards
• Maintain weekly office hours to support learning and address questions
• Demonstrate consistent instructional presence per modality and policies
• Support student learning outcomes through curriculum and assessment activities
• Prepare students for NCLEX throughout the program
• Teach full workload as full-time faculty; up to 30 hours/week for part-time
• Participate in quarterly professional development and campus meetings
• Attend meetings designated by the Dean and participate in committees
• Support faculty onboarding and campus events
• Contribute to graduation ceremonies as designated by the Dean
• Other duties as assigned
