The candidate will advise students, collaborate with preceptors and clinical agencies, mentor less experienced faculty, and support program outcomes through innovative teaching strategies. A Master’s or BSN with RN licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or BSN and Iowa RN licensure required.
• Experience in teaching, supervising or training students.
• Ability to collaborate with faculty, preceptors, and clinical agencies.

Responsibilities

• Teaches, supervises and evaluates student learning in clinical or lab settings.
• Provides individual advisement and guidance for intellectual and professional development of students.
• Collaborates with faculty, preceptors, field faculty, and clinical agencies to provide optimum learning opportunities.
• Serves as a mentor to new or inexperienced faculty.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
