Job summary

Qualifications

• MSN degree required and Mississippi RN license must be active.
• Minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience.
• Criminal background check clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and teach courses assigned.
• Adhere to class and clinical schedules.
• Develop and maintain syllabi, lesson plans, calendars, etc.
• Communicate concerns to course, clinical, or program coordinators.
• Follow policies of clinical site, the University, and related schools.
• Submit course documentation as scheduled.
• Maintain office hours for student support and advisement.
• Collaborate with coordinators to ensure teaching quality.
• Direct and/or supervise students in the nursing program.
• Attend scheduled meetings and participate in governance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
