Qualifications

• Previous experience as a driver, preferably in a healthcare, nursing home, senior living, or similar setting.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
• Ability to safely assist and transport elderly or mobility-impaired residents
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
• Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a healthcare team

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments and scheduled activities
• Assist residents safely in and out of the facility vehicle as needed
• Perform vehicle safety checks and report any maintenance or safety concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
• Follow all facility transportation policies and applicable safety regulations
• Maintain accurate transportation schedules and documentation
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, staff, medical offices, and other healthcare professionals
• Provide respectful, patient, and compassionate service to residents at all times
