Job summary

Apploi is hiring a Nursing Home Van Driver in Elkins Park, PA. This full-time role involves safely transporting residents to appointments and activities, assisting in and out of the vehicle, and maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness.

You will communicate professionally with residents, families, and medical staff, upholding compassionate service and safety standards. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Valid driver''s license with a clean driving record
• Experience driving in healthcare, nursing home, senior living, or similar setting preferred
• Ability to safely assist and transport elderly or mobility-impaired residents
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Dependable, punctual and professional

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments and activities

We are seeking areliable and compassionateVanDriverto join our team at a skilled nursing facility in Elkins Park, PA. TheVanDriverwill be responsible for safely transporting residents to and from medical appointments, activities, and other approved destinations while providing courteous and professional service.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments and scheduled activities.
• Assist residents safely in and out of the facility vehicle as needed.
• Perform vehicle safety checks and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Follow all facility transportation policies and applicable safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate transportation schedules and documentation.
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, staff, medical offices, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide respectful, patient, and compassionate service to residents at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as adriver, preferably in a healthcare, nursing home, senior living, or similar setting.
• Validdriver's license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to safely assist and transport elderly or mobility-impaired residents.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional.
• Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a healthcare team.
