Good Samaritan in Mandan, ND seeks a Nursing Home Administrator for the long term care facility. This senior leadership role is responsible for overall location management, ensuring regulatory compliance, and achieving financial and operational stability while delivering high-quality resident care.

The Administrator will lead staff, coordinate care with families and physicians, manage risk and QA/QI initiatives, oversee infection prevention, and maintain a safe, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred in healthcare administration with coursework in business and human resources.
• Location will determine experience required.
• Licensure as Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) in the practicing state required.
• Other licenses as appropriate by state requirements and facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Provides overall leadership and management of the location including meeting goals and ensuring regulatory and organizational compliance.
• Directs and coordinates work, financial and operational stability, and leadership for residents and staff.
• Communicates effectively with families, residents, and the medical community; ensures marketing and communication for all service levels.
• Manages infection prevention and control programs, safety culture, and QA/QPI initiatives; ensures HIPAA compliance and required reporting.
• Maintains documentation and reports as required by regulations and policy; oversees daily operations and risk management.
