Qualifications

  • Active Nursing Home Administrator license in Tennessee.
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in long-term care or skilled nursing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
  • Preceptor certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the facility to ensure quality resident care and regulatory compliance
  • Lead, mentor, and support department managers and facility staff
  • Promote a positive culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations and standards
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and quality outcomes
  • Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to address concerns and enhance resident satisfaction
  • Monitor facility financial performance including budgeting, labor management, and cost control initiatives
  • Support recruitment, retention, employee engagement, and staff development efforts
  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement programs
  • Represent the facility professionally within the community and healthcare network

Position Overview

The Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations while maintaining the highest standards of resident care and operational excellence.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred
