The Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations while maintaining the highest standards of resident care and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate is a compassionate, results-driven leader with strong knowledge of long-term care operations, regulatory compliance, staff development, and financial management.
Oversee daily operations of the facility to ensure quality resident care and regulatory compliance
Lead, mentor, and support department managers and facility staff
Promote a positive culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations and standards
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and quality outcomes
Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to address concerns and enhance resident satisfaction
Monitor facility financial performance including budgeting, labor management, and cost control initiatives
Support recruitment, retention, employee engagement, and staff development efforts
Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement programs
Represent the facility professionally within the community and healthcare network
Current and active Nursing Home Administrator license in the State of Tennessee required
Preceptor certification preferred
Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in long-term care or skilled nursing required
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and operational management
Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Proven ability to lead teams, improve outcomes, and foster a positive work environment
