ALIYA Healthcare Consulting in Chicago, IL seeks an experienced Nursing Home Administrator to lead a skilled nursing facility. You will guide operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive resident-centered care at the campus.

You will oversee budgets, policy development, staff leadership, and quality initiatives while maintaining PHI protections and promoting accountability across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business or Health Administration.
• Active IL Nursing Home Administrator license.
• 2+ years supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• Knowledge of SNF operations, reimbursement regulations, and compliance.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct day-to-day facility operations.
• Lead department directors and promote cross-functional teamwork.
• Develop and maintain facility policies in compliance with regulations.
• Uphold residents' rights and quality of care.
• Communicate policies to staff, residents, families, and regulators.
• Participate in surveys and inspections by authorities.
• Oversee risk management, QA, infection control, and performance improvement programs.
• Monitor budgets and financial performance.
• Lead staff training and development.
• Protect PHI and confidentiality.

• Perform other duties as directed by the Director of Operations.

Nursing Home Administrator

ALIYA Healthcare Consulting is seeking an experienced Administrator to lead one of our skilled nursing facilities in Chicago, IL. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the facility's strategy, operations, and outcomes. Our Administrator will lead by example, fostering a culture of accountability, compliance, and resident-centered care.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, and direct the day-to-day operations of the facility and its programs
• Provide leadership and guidance to department directors, promoting teamwork and collaboration across departments
• Develop, implement, and maintain facility policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Ensure residents' rights, quality of care, and quality of life standards are upheld at all times
• Interpret and communicate facility policies to staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies
• Participate in surveys and inspections conducted by authorized government agencies
• Oversee risk management, quality assurance, infection control, and performance improvement programs
• Monitor facility budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation to meet organizational goals
• Lead departmental meetings, training programs, and staff development initiatives
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information, including protected health information (PHI)
• Promote a culture of accountability, compliance, and resident-centered care
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of Operations

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree required; degree in Business Administration or Health Administration preferred
• Current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator's license in Illinois
• Minimum of 2 years' supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility
• Knowledge of nursing facility operations, reimbursement regulations, and compliance standards
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
