Job summary

ECPI University is seeking a part-time Nursing Faculty member for the Obstetrics track at our San Antonio, TX campus. Candidates will teach in five-week intervals in small classes and draw on extensive clinical nursing experience to guide students.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing, a current RN license in Texas, and preferably a Master’s in Nursing. Prior undergraduate teaching is a plus, with OB experience highly relevant to the assignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited school (ACEN, CCNE, etc). Master degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in the State.

Qualifications

Education/Credentials

• Bachelors degree in Nursing from an institutional accredited school (either ACEN, CCNE, etc). Master degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in the State in which the program is licensed

Experience

• Minimum of two years full-time clinical experience as a registered nurse
• Previous nursing experience in any of the following specialties: Obstetrics (OB)
• Prior undergraduate teaching experience preferred
