Job summary

Galen College of Nursing in Florida is seeking a full-time Nursing Faculty member to educate and empower the next generation of nurses. Qualifications

• Active, current, unencumbered RN licensure as required by state board.
• MSN degree required; BSN prepared nurses may be considered depending on campus needs.
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Creates an environment that facilitates learning and achieving student outcomes.
• Implements diverse teaching strategies to fit learner needs and content.
• Develops students as nurses, modeling expected professional values and behaviors.
• Implements assessment strategies across classroom, lab, and clinical settings.
• Analyzes student assessment data to inform course improvements.
• Implements PSLOs to organize curriculum and guide learning activities.
• Designs program assessments to promote continuous quality improvement.
• Engages in professional development to enhance faculty effectiveness.
• Maintains clinical knowledge to prepare students for contemporary nursing practice.
