Job summary

Qualifications

• Nursing student with at least one semester of NLN-accredited ADN or four semesters of NLN-accredited BSN.
• Must have current CPR card.
• Attends mandatory hospital in-services (Safety, Infection Control, BLS).
• Completes hospital and unit orientation.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe environment for patient, unit, and coworkers.
• Provides direct patient care under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Completes documentation as part of the plan of care.
• Assists licensed personnel with activities related to the plan of care.
• Contributes to quality, cost-effective health care.
