Job summary

NONPF is seeking a nursing faculty member to join our academic team in Abilene, TX. The role involves teaching students in online, clinical, laboratory, and classroom settings, advising students, and contributing to curriculum development and program activities.

Ideal candidates will hold a Master of Science in Nursing, possess an active Texas RN license, and have clinical experience. Preference is given to those with higher education teaching experience and active professional association

Qualifications

Master's of Science in Nursing from an accredited university.
Current RN license in the State of Texas or ability to transfer your license to Texas.
Two years of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

Teaches students in online, clinical, laboratory, and classroom settings.
Assumes responsibility for and/or participates in the planning and organization of courses to which assigned.
Provides academic advising/counseling to assigned students.
Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of school, program, course, and student activities.
Plans professional development activities for self, such as continuing education offerings, workshops, professional meetings, etc.
Participates in teaching activities according to Instructor rank.
