Job summary

PACS in Los Angeles is seeking a nurse administrator to coordinate staff recruitment, training, and education, while ensuring high-quality patient care in a long-term care setting. You will lead infection-control activities, supervise staff, and maintain strict confidentiality across departments.

The role requires RN or LVN/LPN licensure with the possibility of BSN being preferred. You will work under the Administrator/Director of Nursing and help ensure regulatory compliance and staff

Qualifications

• Must have RN or LVN/LPN license from an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of direct patient care in a long-term care facility plus 1 year of education program planning/ Evaluation.
• 2+ years in long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and participate in recruiting and hiring of staff.
• Coordinate completion of and process employment-related documentation.
• Coordinate payroll and employee benefit programs.
• Plan, conduct and document In Service education programs and prepare calendars.
• Coordinate infection control surveillance and participate in facility surveys.
• Provide direct resident/patient care and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Supervise staff and assist with disciplinary measures as needed.
• Complete all forms required by the Department of Health for In Service and education programs.
