CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Clinical Educator II at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital in San Antonio. The role drives clinical education, onboarding, and ongoing staff development across specialties using simulation, eLearning, and microlearning.

You will collaborate with clinical teams to meet regulatory standards, ensure safe patient care, and align with organizational goals. Qualifications include a BSN and 2 years of clinical experience; BLS within 30 days of hire.

Formación

• BSN required; enrollment considered with completion within defined timeframe.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and technology-enhanced learning tools (simulation, LMS, eLearning).
• 2 years of clinical experience required.
• RN licensure in the state of employment or compact required; ANCC NPD-BC preferred; BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Designs, develops, and leads education programs using contemporary teaching strategies and technologies.
• Facilitates onboarding and orientation for new clinical staff, ensuring smooth integration into practice environments.
• Coordinates and validates clinical competencies for new hires and ongoing staff.
• Integrates simulation-based learning, case-based scenarios, and hands-on training to enhance decision-making.
• Serves as a resource and mentor for preceptors; supports their development.
• Promotes evidence-based practice and translates research into clinical application.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams for interprofessional education.
• Maintains documentation of educational activities and outcomes for compliance.
• Participates in committees focused on clinical education, safety, and quality improvement.
• Evaluates program effectiveness and implements improvements.
