Job summary

Felician University seeks an experienced nursing educator to teach in the School of Nursing, Prelicensure Nursing. The candidate should have experience teaching in traditional and online venues and be willing to complete Felician online certification.

An MS in Nursing is required, with a doctoral degree or progress toward it preferred. The role requires current RN licensure in NJ, national certification, and a strong background in clinical nursing education, with 2+ years of practical

Qualifications

Current licensure in good standing in New Jersey as a Registered Nurse.
Current national certification in good standing.
Current NJ Board of Nursing licensure in good standing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in clinical nursing education.
2+ years’ practical experience in the area of specialization.
Previous teaching experience, preferably in higher education.
Superior written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to engage with students of diverse backgrounds and experiences.
Willingness and ability to support and promote the Felician Franciscan mission and values of the University.
