Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in nursing, education, or administration.
• 3+ years leading a nursing program.
• 3+ years full-time faculty in pre- or post-licensure nursing.
• 1 year teaching in online teaching and learning environments.
• 4+ years of continuous direct patient care by RN in relevant fields in past 5 years.
• Must hold a valid California BRN license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, development, management, updating and evaluation of the program.
• Prepare data and materials for state/board requirements, reports, proposals, self-studies, surveys, site visits.
• Identify and obtain outside resources for the nursing program.
• Ensure clinical rotations and evaluations meet objectives and deadlines.
• Maintain student records and documentation according to policies.
• Teach theory or clinical sessions half of the time.
• Assist with strategic planning and assessment of instructional initiatives.
