Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a nursing educator to provide classroom and clinical instruction for nursing students, including content preparation and assessment of progress. This role partners with clinical agencies to ensure high-quality nursing education and patient care.

The position requires a Doctorate in progress or related field and a Master’s in Nursing, with at least two years of clinical nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Significant progress toward an earned Doctorate in Nursing (awarded by June 2022) or related field.
• Master's Degree with a major in Nursing (MS or MSN).
• At least 2 years’ experience in clinical nursing as required by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provides classroom and clinical/laboratory instruction for students in the nursing major including preparation of content, assignments, and evaluation of student clinical and academic progress.
• Interacts with health team members in cooperating clinical agencies to facilitate student learning and to promote quality-nursing care for clients.
• Participates in the development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of the total educational program.
